Specks and Planks

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your bother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your bother’s eye.” Luke 6:41-42

Sometimes, we are so used to the plank in our own eye that it seems like a speck. And we are not familiar with the speck in our brother’s eye, so it looks like a plank.

And that is all I have to say about that. (I know you’re relieved.)
