Boy Howdy. These past few weeks have been insane in the membrane. Work has been crazier than normal, Ryan’s been gone for a few football games, my cousin got married and then I spent the last week in Pennsylvania for the most stressful install ever and then flew straight from Philadelphia to St. Simons for one of the worst Georgia-Florida games ever.
Ryan and I both had bad feelings about it walking in to the game, so it wasn’t a total shock, but it still hurt.
Needless to say, I’m craving some normalcy. Ryan and I both took the day off yesterday just to get some face time with each other. We went to Waffle House for breakfast and then his mom had a tennis match right next to our house so we snuck Jolene in to watch her.
The rest of the day was spent doing laundry, catching up on TV, figuring out a meal plan for the week and cooking dinner.
And now it’s officially November and we have a lot of stuff to do to prepare for the holidays. I’m dying to get all of our Christmas gifts purchased and take a picture for our Christmas card, just to get some things checked off my mental to-do list. We also have some house stuff we need to get done around here that has been hanging over my head for a while. So hopefully November will be the month! It’s hard to believe the year is almost over!
