I CAN finish something!

A few weeks months ago, I covered this lampshade. You can read all about it HERE. I bought some navy ribbon to finish it with, but Mama wanted me to use a braid, so we went and bought one on Sunday after the quilt show. So on Tuesday, during Glee, I finished it.

We went with an off-white braid instead of a dark color. I like it better because I think it makes it look fresher and happier.

So here is the finished product!

I need to figure out if I can iron it or not. The fabric is like linen, so it’s super wrinkley. But other than that, it’s done and all I have to do is take it down to the lake! Yay!
